As smart buildings and industrial automation roll out worldwide, safety and control equipment is moving onto walls and machine frames where it must survive dust, moisture and constant daily use. In 2026, a leading control equipment manufacturer commissioned a custom enclosure program for its new family of wall-mounted control boxes.
The housing had to protect control modules, sensors, keypads and display windows while remaining compact enough for tight installation spaces. High-visibility color coding was also required so operators could instantly identify safety-related units.

We built the enclosure from 1.0mm cold-rolled galvanized steel and combined 8kW fiber laser cutting with CNC punching, using real-time positioning feedback on every opening. A pre-production sample was assembled with the customer’s own hardware to verify fit before any tooling was locked.
The 500-unit order shipped 5 days ahead of the 35-day schedule and passed 100% of dimensional, IP54, coating and hinge-cycle tests.
The first sample fitted our sensors and displays perfectly, which we have never experienced with a new supplier. The two-tone finish looks factory-clean, and the hinge reliability gives our service team peace of mind on long-running sites. We have moved the entire control box line over to SanJun Hardware.
