As e-commerce live streaming booms, a leading commercial studio equipment manufacturer launched a 2026 program for 1,200 all-in-one machines aimed at professional streamers, brand studios and exhibition booths. Each unit pairs a circular upper housing with a ring fill light and camera, mounted on a height-adjustable lower stand.
The project pushed roll-forming rather than bending for a seamless round shell, a smooth locking stand, and a specialized sandblasted anodized aluminum finish.
Live streaming gear has to look as good as it performs: a bent circle would show stress lines and seams, and a wobbly stand means blurred frames.
The signature challenge was seamless roundness. Bending aluminum would create visible seams and uneven curvature that would misalign the ring light and camera. At the same time, the stand needed precision guide grooves and a reliable lock to support 25kg without wobble.
Sanjun chose a 3-roller roll-forming machine with custom tooling to gradually shape the 1.2mm 6063-T5 sheet into a seamless circle, monitored in real time by a laser gauge and finished with a post-roll polish. The stand’s main 6061-T6 profile received CNC-machined guide grooves and a spring-loaded detent lock that survived 10,000 adjustment cycles.
An 80-grit sandblast followed by 25um hard anodizing delivered a uniform 5H matte surface, while hidden cable channels with rounded edges and grommets kept power and data cables protected. Vibration testing at 3G across 50-500Hz confirmed no camera blur or loosening on stream.
All 1,200 units shipped three days early with a 100% pass rate on roundness, 25kg load stability, cross-cut adhesion, 5H scratch and vibration tests.
After six months in 300-plus studios and 50-plus exhibition booths, the client reported a 28% rise in equipment sales and signed a three-year partnership covering four new live streaming series.
